About Me
I have been designing films, motion graphics, animations, and music videos for close to two decades, focusing largely on projects that support the arts. I am currently finishing up a 12-part documentary series called, “Tiny Orchestral Moments,” about a thriving international music project based in Seattle, which will be released in the near future. I wore many hats on this project including director, editor, motion designer, animator, writer, cinematographer, and audio designer. Previous to this series, I co-directed/edited a 90-minute documentary called, “Bezango, WA,” that tells the tale of a historic and vast community of cartoonists and comic artists from the Pacific Northwest. This film was featured in several film festivals, including The San Diego Comic-Con.
I am expanding my network to focus more specifically on motion design projects, animation, title sequences, explainer videos, advertising/promo videos, illustrations, and music videos. My work combines 2D illustrations and videos with 3D After Effects designs. I look forward to using my vast design and storytelling skills to help bring your projects to life.
I am proficient in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Media Encoder. I love animals, gardening and walking. I play the drums and bass, and studied and performed improvisational theater for many years.
